Universities And Sites To Visit

Hi all.

I am posting up a list of sites; of places you can check out if you consider a career in acting, or plan to do a course.

• http://www.nida.com.au/ - NIDA a.k.a National Institute of Dramatic Arts. Very good, many professional actors/actresses have gone here. I plan to go here after Uni.
• http://www.unimelb.edu.au/ - Melbourne University.
• http://www.vu.edu.au/ - Victoria University.
• http://www.jmcacademy.edu.au/ - JMC Academy. Lots of courses for the serious actor/singer/dancer. Anything performing artsy.
• http://www.ace.org.au/ - Australian College Of Entertainment. Looked at this just today as I was searching. More for students in High School, but oh well.
• http://www.actorsstudio.com.au/acting_classes_courses.html This is a place in Sydney called The Acting Studio. Looks pretty good.

Welcome to VCE Drama Help

Hello All.

I am Sarah, a VCE Drama student currently studying Units 3&4. I decided to start up this blog, where I will post heaps of things to help kids like myself to get the best out of their performances.

Why drama?

Drama is a way for oneself to act and take positive risks. They are able to develop an array of characters, and can put their theory into their practical, so as you do not know you are learning theory as well.
It's a fun and exciting thing to do, which helps build self-esteem and confidence.

What I hope to have when the site is complete:
